Pursuant to Articles L.211-5 and R211-27 of the Mutual Insurance Code, the UITSEM group, a mutual insurance union No. 330 176 413 subject to the provisions of Book II of the Mutual Insurance Code, headquartered at 43 rue Jaboulay, Lyon 7e, fully replaces Smerra – Mutuelle étudiante for the provision of health and accident insurance coverage offered to participating members of Smerra – Mutuelle étudiante and their beneficiaries, as well as for the fulfillment of existing and future commitments. Groupe UITSEM acts as joint guarantor for all financial commitments and expenses, including non-insurance-related expenses, undertaken by Smerra – Mutuelle étudiante. If the approval granted is withdrawn, the coverage will be terminated at noon on the fortieth day following the date of publication of the decision to withdraw approval, and the portion of the premium relating to the non-covered period will then be refunded to the policyholder.

How do we protect your data (GDPR & CNIL)?

When you visit our website, the UITSEM group, as data controller, may collect your personal data in connection with the performance of your insurance contracts.

Your personal data will be entrusted to employees and subcontractors of the mutual insurance company who are duly authorized to manage it, and this will only be done to the extent necessary for the management of your contracts and benefits.

Your data will be kept for a period of time in accordance with the various regulatory constraints applicable to the mutual insurance company.

In this case, the mutual insurance company ensures that the data is subject to an adequate level of security and protection.

Withdrawal policy for rentals

LOGIFAC rentals are for residential purposes only. They are not subject to consumer law (Article L.221-2 12° of the French Consumer Code) and do not give the right to withdraw as provided for in Article L. 221-18 of the same code.

Withdrawal policy for home insurance via Smerra :

The insured party has a withdrawal period of 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract, which may be exercised by sending a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to Smerra cancellation of home insurance, 43 rue Jaboulay, 69349 Lyon Cedex 07, France.
