Student or internship accommodation: flexible solutions

If you are a student, researcher, young professional, or intern under the age of 30 in Paris, you need a flexible and clear solution. We adapt to your academic or professional constraints. For an internship, exams, or a summer job, you can book a furnished and comfortable accommodation in a student residence in Paris, temporarily and subject to availability. You focus on your projects, we simplify the rest.

A short stay offers welcome flexibility. A few weeks or several months, the choice is yours. You can adjust the duration if your schedule changes, without being tied down by a long lease.

Financially, it makes sense. You only pay for the period you occupy the accommodation. You avoid months of unused rent and protect your Parisian student budget.

Geographical flexibility is a major advantage. The residences are located in key locations in Paris. You can settle near your campus, your internship, or your favorite neighborhoods. You save time and live better.

Services are included: laundry facilities, parking, and sometimes a swap space. When you arrive, everything is ready.

Short stays also allow you to forge connections. You meet other students, build a university or professional network, and open yourself up to other cultures.

Our goal: to simplify your life in Paris with accommodation that adapts to your changing needs. Whether it’s a few weeks or several months, we adapt.

Student life in Paris: Figures and atmosphere

Focus on the number of students and the city’s appeal

The city of Paris and the Île-de-France region are home to hundreds of thousands of French and international students. It is a true center of higher education, offering a range of courses that is unique in France and Europe. Student life in Paris is driven by universities, schools, libraries, and accessible cultural venues, from the Latin Quarter in Paris’s 13th arrondissement around the François Mitterrand Library to Paris’s 18th arrondissement at the foot of Montmartre. People come to the capital for the quality of the courses, the diversity of the campuses, and a long-term lifestyle that is freer, more active, and more open to the world.

Proximity to campuses

Are you studying near a large campus? Sorbonne University, Paris Cité University (Grands Moulins site), Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, Paris Nanterre University in Nanterre, Sorbonne Paris Nord in Saint-Denis, Paris 8 Vincennes–Saint-Denis University, Université Paris-Est Créteil in Créteil, CY Cergy Paris Université in Cergy and Pontoise, Université Gustave Eiffel in Champs-sur-Marne, École des Ponts ParisTech, Sciences Po, École normale supérieure (national higher education institution), Institut Curie, a higher education institute… Most student residences are located in close proximity, often just a few minutes’ walk or two metro stops away. As a result, you save time, stay close to the universities, and make your success your priority.

Student life and leisure: What to do in Paris?

Paris offers the advantage of a city where you can study, work, and breathe. Cultural life, shops, urban nature, gyms—everything is accessible by metro, tram, and RER lines. You can easily go from a class in central Paris to an exhibition, then to a bike ride along the canal.

Cultural activities

Between the Louvre, Orsay, the Pompidou Center, the Cité des Sciences à la Villette, theaters, and cinemas, the cultural offerings are endless. Libraries—Sainte-Geneviève, François-Mitterrand—become real places of life. To relax, head to the Canal de l’Ourcq, the Parc de la Villette, the Bois de Vincennes, or take a walk to the Eiffel Tower. The capital also hosts festivals, student events, and community gatherings focused on sustainable development, health, and creativity. You feel connected to the world, which is motivating for studying, entrepreneurship, and training.

Nightlife and meeting places

In the evening, the city lights up. Saint-Germain, Bastille, Belleville, Canal Saint-Martin, Pigalle, and all of Paris’s 18th arrondissement come alive. In Saint-Ouen, Pantin, La Courneuve, and Saint-Denis, concert halls and cultural venues create a friendly atmosphere. Student cafés become meeting places where you can put the world to rights, talk about projects, internships, and networking. You can alternate between chill evenings and revision, finding your own rhythm.

Which neighborhood is best for accommodation?

Key neighborhoods and brief descriptions

When it comes to student housing, each arrondissement in Paris has its own personality. The 13th arrondissement, around the BNF, is convenient and well connected, with beautiful campuses and affordable studios. The 18th arrondissement is lively and artistic, ideal for a shared apartment. The 5th and 6th arrondissements, on the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain side, exude academic history. Nearby towns offer an excellent living environment: Gentilly, Ivry-sur-Seine, Villejuif, Malakoff, and Châtillon to the south; Courbevoie, Suresnes, and Bois-Colombes to the west; Saint-Ouen and Saint-Denis to the north; Sceaux, Bourg-la-Reine, and Saint-Mandé for campuses and parks; and Vincennes for nature. Further away but very well connected: Cergy, Pontoise, Champs-sur-Marne, Créteil, Drancy, Noisy-le-Sec, Noisy-le-Grand, Villiers-sur-Marne, Choisy-le-Roi, Alfortville, Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, Orly, Carrières-sur-Seine, Herblay-sur-Seine, Montmagny, and Maisons-Laffitte. These towns are often more affordable, with student residences located near the RER or tramway, and a comfortable lifestyle for young professionals or work-study students.

Travel tips and public transportation

Your compass is public transportation. Find the metro line that serves your campus and residence: line 14 to Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand, line 1 to Vincennes, line 4 to the center, line 13 to Saint-Denis Université (formerly Pierrefitte-sur-Seine), and line 9 to Suresnes. As for the RER, line A connects Noisy-le-Grand, Vincennes, and Cergy, line B serves Gentilly and Villejuif, and line C passes through Ivry-sur-Seine and Choisy-le-Roi. The T1, T2, and T3 tramways simplify connections between suburbs. Choose a neighborhood with good transport links, located two stops away from your place of study or less than 20 minutes away by RER: you’ll save precious time every day. Alternate between the metro and bike to get around quickly, rely on night buses when you’re studying late, and choose accommodation close to universities to limit your commute. A studio apartment in a residence with a gym and quiet spaces is the perfect balance between student life, comfort, and health.

Paris, the capital of your projects

Paris welcomes you with open arms: inspiring campuses, passionate teachers, legendary libraries, and a cultural scene that pulsates day and night. Between classes, an exhibition at La Villette, and coffee with students from around the world, you grow, you create, you open up. Transportation takes you everywhere, and so do opportunities. Come write your own story in the capital, where your ideas gain momentum and your projects become possible. Join the energy, discover, experiment, dare now.
